Having held China management roles in multinational advertising agencies, her marketing & advertising background has given her opportunities to work with multiple auto brands at the management level. This has given her an international perspective of auto industry future. She then deep dived into car leasing, auto dealership & ride hailing – rounding up her auto insights.
Bowen Deng
CoFounder
He is an auto industry professional turned serial entrepreneur. He served as VP at Hunter Ltd (CN) & later, Shenma Ltd, overseeing auto sales, car leasing & property management department over 17 years. He served as Head of Southwest Region of Strategic Development at SAIC (China’s largest auto maker). These positions provided opportunities for Bowen to build strong partnerships with many automakers in China, including SAIC, Changan, Geely, Hozon. He has since founded multiple auto-related companies, of which Smart Sync is his primary business.
Danny Huang
Co Founder
His entire career has been in auto industry. But he brings a business & financial perspective to the team based on his BA in International Trade & Financial Services from Carleton U, Canada . He served as GM of Southwest Region at HTLH Ltd (CN) & later, as CEO of Shenma Ride Hailing Ltd (CN). His roles have given him connections to major automakers including BYD, Changan, Great Wall, Hozon.
Nicholas Shou
Principal Consultant
Coming from the marketing & advertising industry, with a strong focus on automotive brands. He has worked closely & deeply with major auto brands such as SAIC-GM (joint venture between SAIC & General Motors), FAW VW (JV of FAW & Volks Wagen) & GAC (Guangdong Automotive Company). Nicholas also has ties to BRI logistics sector. Coupled with 17 years of deep marketing knowledge of the auto industry, Nicholas brings a rounded perspective to the team.
Lim Siew Ping

A seasoned marketing & advertising executive, SiewPing has pivoted to entrepreneurship. As a Malaysian with 2 decades of living in China, she has a unique advantage in connecting China with the rest of the world. Her marketing years have given her much exposure to auto industry while working with multiple auto brands. To SiewPing, Smart Sync represents a great way to connect Chinese brands & auto tech to the world.

A venture builder and investor with a strong focus on Tech, MJ has 2 decades of experience in software industry and is also an auto enthusiast. MJ is connected to the digital trade infrastructure & is linked to enterprises exploring the future development of smart mobility. He has co-founded & exited multiple startups, spanning across diverse industries. With Smart Sync, he aims to combine his auto passion with tech expertise and entrepreneurial experience.
